Who is this program for?
This program is designed for adults 65+ who want to stay strong, improve balance, and continue moving well. It’s a good fit for anyone looking for structured, guided training in a calm, predictable environment.
Do I need experience to start?
No experience is needed. PSF members range from athletes to novices and all workouts are modifed for individual needs. Some seniors prefer to start with our recurring SHAPE course, which is designed specifically for beginner seniors and those returning to exercise.
What is SHAPE?
SHAPE (Senior Health and Physical Exercise) is our recurring small-group introductory course that teaches proper movement, pacing, and how our sessions work.
It's perfect for Seniors who would prefer to build confidenence before joining ongoing senior membershipvworkouts.
Are the workouts low intensity?
The workouts are appropriately paced, not watered down.
You’ll still build strength, improve balance, and challenge yourself—just in a way that supports your body and reduces risk.
Will I be working out on my own?
No. Every session is fully coach-led. You’ll have clear instruction the entire time, so you always know what to do and how to do it.
Do I need to share equipment or move between stations?
No. You’ll have your own dedicated space and equipment during each session. There’s no rushing, waiting, or rotating through crowded stations.
How often should I attend?
Most members attend 2–3 times per week, depending on their schedule and goals. We’ll help you find a routine that works for you.
What if I have limitations or past injuries?
That’s common, and it’s something we account for. Coaches can adjust movements and pacing so you can train safely while still making progress.
Where are you located?
We’re located in Lindenwood Park in St. Louis at 3401 Watson Rd. All senior sessions take place in our coach-led training environment.
